Sorry For The Delay

I know, I'm a bad blogger mommy! I just finished my first semester of nursing school and had no time for posting pictures of our summer happenings. But, I'm off until September and promise to do better.

Ballet

Another one of the girls' summer activites is Ballet. This is Elizabeth's first time taking a city recreation class, while Emily is an old pro by now.

Swimming Lessons

We have been going to swim lessons 4 days a week for the last 6 weeks and its really paying off. Both girls are doing great on their "kicks & scoops" and both girls have gone off the diving board several times. We are taking the next session off, but will be back in action in 2 weeks.

Emily is so happy to be in the big kid class. She is usually the first one to jump in and last one to get out. She's a fish just like her Mommy!

I couldn't resist adding this old picture of Jay. This is the only picture we have of him near water as a child. He is a firm believer that humans DO NOT have fins for a reason. He has been a great sport this summer and swims with the girls at Nonnie and Papa's pool almost every weekend! What a great Daddy!
